Programs & Services

Britannia Woods Community House (BWCH) has been providing community supports and services since 1976. Our programs are community driven and delivered within the community.

While majority of programs are in the community house, many others are offered at the Dr. FJ MacDonald Catholic School on Ahearn Ave. We also work with a number of partners such as the City of Ottawa to provide programming to children, youth and their families. We partner with the City of Ottawa, Ottawa Community Housing (OCH) and Pinecrest Queensway Community Health Centre (PQCHC) to increase community involvement, health and connections.

Children and Youth Programs:

Britannia Woods community has a large population of children and youth. Our after school programs and summer programming are instrumental to their joy, confidence, pride, opportunities and life-skills.

In addition to supporting the needs of the children and youth’s development, Community House programs aim to support the leadership skills that will enable children and youth to be engaged and positively active in their community.
